Wait, where are the sequoia trees? The only time I’ve *technically* set foot inside Sequoia National Park was during my summit of Mount Whitney, which lies on the eastern border of the park in the High Sierras. The first three photos in this gallery were taken during my climb up Whitney, hence the lack of familiar sequoia trees that are widespread in the park’s more popular western corridor. The last three photos – supplied to me by Benjamin Peacock and Steven Turnbull – show the part of the park that most people are familiar with.
