The only time I’ve *technically* set foot inside Sequoia National Park was during my summit of Mount Whitney in 2026, which lies on the eastern border of the park in the High Sierras. This part of the park lacks its namesake trees. The first three photos in this gallery were – therefore – taken during my climb up Whitney, hence the lack of sequoia trees in those photos. The last three photos – supplied to me by Benjamin Peacock and Steven Turnbull – show the part of the park that most people are familiar with.
